Hi, I'm Tarun Jyoti — a B.Tech graduate in Electronics and Computer Engineering with a focus on backend development. I recently worked as an intern at Maruti Suzuki, working with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices in an enterprise environment.
My favorite project so far is MarutiXchange, a C2C car resale platform where I built real-time bidding, JWT-based authentication, and an escrow payment system using Kafka for event-driven notifications. I've also built a Baggage Source Message (BSM) processor in Java, inspired by my internship at Siemens Logistics, to parse and track airport baggage data end-to-end.
I like working on backend systems that solve a real, specific problem rather than just checking a technical box — and I'm currently looking for my first full-time role as a Backend Developer / Associate Software Engineer.
Hi, I'm Tarun Jyoti, a B.Tech graduate in Electronics and Computer Engineering with a focus on backend development and software engineering.
I recently completed a Software Engineering internship at Maruti Suzuki, working with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture in an enterprise environment. Alongside this, I built MarutiXchange, a C2C car resale platform with real-time bidding, JWT-based authentication, and an escrow payment system powered by Kafka for event-driven notifications. I've also built a Baggage Source Message (BSM) Processor in Java, handling file parsing, data validation, and database integration — a project inspired by my earlier internship at Siemens Logistics.
I'm drawn to backend systems and API design specifically because I like solving problems that have a real, tangible impact — like protecting both sides of a transaction with an escrow mechanism, rather than just building a feature for its own sake. I'm currently looking for my first full-time role as a Backend Developer / Associate Software Engineer.
I am an aspiring full stack developer with a strong foundation in Java, SQL, and web technologies,
B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering, Punjabi University Patiala, graduated 2026
I have hands-on experience in building web applications, working across the stack, demonstrated through my internship at Siemens and various personal projects.
I approach development with attention to detail, curiosity, and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code. I value continuous learning, problem-solving, and clear communication to build applications that are both functional and user-friendly.
I believe in building software that solves real problems — combining reliable backend logic with intuitive frontend design. I'm committed to growing my skills across the full stack, staying curious, and delivering work I can be proud to put my name on.
Feel free to reach out for collaborations, opportunities, or just to connect.

Contributed to the development of a Microservices-Based Car Resale System at Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Gained hands-on exposure to enterprise software development, microservices architecture, and real-world development workflows while working on a practical industry project.
Analyzed domain workflows across three core airport logistics systems — Baggage Handling System (BHS), Departure Control System (DCS), and Airport Operational Database (AODB). Studied Siemens' logistics product suite (BagIQ, Baggage 360, Baggage Vision, CapacityPlus, Aviation Data Hub) and mapped the end-to-end baggage handling process from check-in to claim. This domain knowledge directly shaped my later independent project, the Smart Baggage Tracking Syste
